Meet Pete

Pete Santora joined SoftWear Automation in 2015 during research and development. Today he supports retailers, fashion brands and manufacturers globally, in workforce development, apparel factories of the future and the commercialization of SEWBOTS® for apparel automation. 

Pete brings 15 years’ experience in growing high-tech teams and commercializing intellectual property. Prior to Softwear Automation, Pete was an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Advanced Technology Development Center, a Forbes "Top 10 Technology Incubator changing the world,” while also working as research faculty at Georgia Tech Research Institute, the billion-dollar research arm of the Georgia Institute of Technology. He was the former Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Blue Sombrero, a technology based financial services company he ran for 10 years and was acquired by Dick’s Sporting Goods.  He is a former professional soccer player and serial entrepreneur.
